Pea Chicken Stew

This is a tasty, quick-to-cook, and hearty dish that you can whip up for any occasion. It’s one of my absolute favorites, and in my opinion, the best way to enjoy it is with white rice and diced french fries. But feel free to get creative and pair it with just fries, mashed potatoes, or whatever floats your culinary boat.

Pea Chicken Stew

The Best Chicken with pea

Equipment

  • 1 Pot.

Ingredients
  

  • 800 grams of chicken (breast, thigh, fillets, etc)
  • 2 Units medium-sized carrots.
  • 4 Units small tomatoes.
  • 250 grs of peas (1 can of canned peas).
  • ½ Units onion, diced.
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • Oregano
  • Cumin to taste.
  • Salt to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Heat the pot, then add the olive oil, minced garlic, onion diced and sear the chicken.
  • In a food processor, grind the peeled carrots and quartered tomatoes.
  • Once the chicken is seared, add the carrot and tomato mixture along with the seasonings. Cook for about 30 minutes over low heat.
  • Add the peas 5 minutes beforeturning off the heat (you can use fresh, frozen, or canned peas).
  • You can serve this pea chicken stew with rice and diced fried potatoes or your preferred side dish.
  • Now, enjoy!
