This recipe takes me back to my childhood when I was little and we used to go to my paternal grandmother’s house for lunch. My brother and I would get really excited when she made us this dish. It’s a super simple and budget-friendly recipe made with ingredients we often have at home.

You’ll need breadcrumbs, and if you don’t have any, I can show you how to make them. It’s a breeze. Just heat up a loaf of bread (preferably a baguette or French bread) in the microwave for about 3 minutes and then let it cool. It’ll get really hard. Once it’s cooled down, you can grate it up and voilà, homemade breadcrumbs! Of course, it’s always easier to buy them from the supermarket or bakery. Don’t hesitate to give this recipe a try – you won’t regret it.
In a pot of cold water, place the eggs and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, let them cook for 15 minutes, then remove from the water.
In another pot, melt the teaspoon of butter and sauté the chopped garlic.
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the garlic and butter.
At this point, add cumin and the packet of chicken broth powder.
Sprinkle in the breadcrumbs and once they're well integrated, add the peeled and whole hard-boiled eggs into the sauce.
Serve over fluffy rice and you can accompany it with diced French fries.
